Harnessing Solar Energy for a Sustainable Future
In 2023, we invested €320,000 in a cutting-edge photovoltaic system with a capacity of 285 kWp, harnessing the power of renewable energy to drive our operations. This investment not only reduces our reliance on conventional energy sources but also strengthens our commitment to lowering our carbon footprint. By integrating solar power into our manufacturing processes, we are taking a proactive step toward a greener future, ensuring that innovation and sustainability go hand in hand.
Investing in a Greener Future
Sustainability is at the heart of HBI Bittner’s commitment to responsible manufacturing. In 2022, we took a significant step toward reducing our environmental impact by investing €370,000 in a state-of-the-art district heating system. This initiative has cut our CO₂ emissions by approximately 850 tonnes of CO₂(e), reinforcing our dedication to energy efficiency and sustainable operations. By continuously improving our processes and adopting greener technologies, we are shaping a more sustainable future for our partners, our industry, and our planet.
